Karen - Financial Coordinator

I have been with the practice since 1988 and am currently the Financial Coordinator for Drs. Clark and Romzick. I have had many positions including appointment coordinator and treatment coordinator. During my time here, I have gained valuable on the job skills that I truly do not think I could have gotten anywhere else. We are very fortunate to work for doctors who believe in continuing education. I have attended dozens of seminars to enhance my skills and in particular, my knowledge about our Dentrix software. It is a very powerful program and sometimes I feel like I can train the trainers! I always enjoy challenging our insurance companies and maximizing our patient's benefits for achieving optimum dental health for our patients.

I have been married since 1979 and have been blessed with 3 wonderful children; 2 sons and 1 daughter. My daughter was married in 2014 and we welcomed our first grandchild, Isaiah, on June 18, 2015 (Dr. Romzick's birthday too!) . He has stolen my heart! I enjoy cooking, as well as walking and love the game of hockey! My favorite color is yellow and I love the new song When We Were Young by Adele.

Lori - Registered Dental Assistant

I have been with the practice for 25 years and have developed my chairside skills over time to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Only about 10% of all dental assistants are licensed as RDA's and I am glad Dr. Clark and Dr. Romzick encouraged me to become credentialed. I continue to keep my state license current with many continuing education courses. At work, I enjoy the variety of procedures we have throughout the day and the challenges some of them bring.

When not in the office I enjoy just being at home with my family. I will be married twenty years in July 2016 and have two sons and a dog. We often visit my parents' home on Lake Leelanau and enjoy the wineries along the Leelanau peninsula. My favorite band is the Eagles and my favorite colors are blue and pink.

Michele - Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been working as a Registerd Dental Hygienist for Drs. Clark and Romzick since January 2, 2001. My Bachelor of Science degree is from the University of Michigan and though my favorite color is green, I bleed Maize and Blue! I feel truly blessed to have been fortunate to work for such a 'forward thinking' practice. Working for Drs. Clark and Romzick has allowed me to develop my skills in the areas of digital radiography, intra-oral camera imaging, and the latest periodontal treatment protocols for my hygiene patients.

Outside of working I enjoy spending time being a wife and mom. I have 2 children; Alex who is 9, and Emma who will soon be 8. Both children are involved in a variety of activities which keeps me busy. I also enjoy running the occasional 10k, and exercising in general. My favorite music is from the Beatles and classic rock in general. My favorite book is The Giving Tree and I love reading it to my children. When it comes to movies, my Mom introduced me to Gone With the Wind as a child and I still love it!

Jennifer - Appointment Coordinator

I have been the Appointment Coordinator for Drs. Clark and Romzick since 2009. I have 15 years of experience in the dental field and worked as a dental assistant in both general dentistry and endodontic offices prior to transitioning to a member of the business team. I have always been impressed with the way that Dr. Clark and Dr. Romzick run their office, first as a patient, and happily now as a member of their team. Their commitment to a positive patient experience and attention to detail are hallmarks of their practice, and are qualities that I have not experienced elsewhere. Outside of the office, I enjoy camping and spending time with my husband, our two children and our dogs. My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice and favorite movie is The Proposal.

Nichole - Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Nichole Bourasaw, and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist working for the practice since 2014. With a total of 11 years in the dental field I was a dental assistant for an endodontist for 3 years while I was working on my dental hygiene degree. Starting off my dental career as a dental assistant has allowed me to be a valuable asset in all areas of the office, not just in the hygiene department. What I love most about being a Dental Hygienist is helping every patient achieve their best smile. After 11 years, I have finally found the office I dreamed of working at when I first entered the dental field. The office of Dr. Clark and Romzick really strives to provide the best dental care to our patients.

Happily married to my husband Keith since 2008, we have 2 daughters, Sophia, 5 and Scarlett, 2. Having two little girls keeps me busy, but I would not have it any other way. I enjoy gardening, spending the summers boating on Commerce Lake, and being a coach and team mom for my daughter's cheerleading team. My favorite color is pink, I love country music and my favorite movie is The Notebook.

Terrie - Registered Dental Assistant

I have worked as Dr. Romzick's Registered Dental Assistant since April 2015. My education was completed at Baker College of Auburn Hills with the degree "Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Assisting". Prior to graduating, I earned my credentials from the Dental Assisting National Board and the Michigan State Board of Dentistry. I hope to extend my education further with a degree in Biology.

Communication, loyalty, respect and excellence in dental care sets our office apart from other providers. It's more than a dental office; we treat each other and our patients like family. What I enjoy most about my job is being a part of helping patients gain their inner self-confidence to smile again after years of avoiding the dentist. It warms my heart to make a difference in someone else's life. My favorite color has always been red, but I would say it's now champagne- gold. I prefer to listen to 80's and 90's old school music, R&B, and pop rock. "It doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you don't stop", a quote attributed to Confucius, motivates me to achieve my goals.
